The ML Department at Urban Middle School supports English language learners in developing the skills they need to succeed in English-only classrooms. We focus on helping students improve their writing, reading, speaking, and listening in English.
Instruction is provided in small groups for personalized attention, and we also work alongside regular classroom teachers in core subjects and allied arts.
We are committed to partnering with parents and guardians and offer Spanish and Hmong interpretation.
