Art

In the Sheboygan Area School District, art education provides students with meaningful opportunities to explore creativity, develop technical skills, and express themselves through a variety of artistic media. Sixth-grade art is a required course that introduces foundational skills and key art concepts. In seventh and eighth grade, art becomes an elective where students continue to build upon these skills, deepening their understanding of techniques, design, and personal expression.

The Sheboygan Area School District believes in providing our students with a wide range of artistic skills and techniques within an emotionally safe and supportive environment. This includes essential experiences that promote creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
