graphic with snowflakes that reads Snow Days and Virtual Learning.

The first snow day of the school year will be a day off for students. If there are additional days when in-person school must be cancelled, classes will be held virtually on the normal bell schedule, with attendance taken in Meets.

The image shows a group of people, likely students, gathered around a table filled with various school supplies and materials, suggesting an activity or event related to education or community service.

🎁 Holiday cheer filled the halls at Urban Middle School this week! 🎁

Urban staff members hosted a school-wide Holiday Shopping event where students could choose gifts for special people in their lives from a huge selection of donated items. The line to enter the event stretched down the hallway, with students eagerly waiting their turn to find the perfect present.

After shopping, the fun continued! Staff helped students wrap their gifts, while others enjoyed decorating sugar cookies and creating festive ornaments to take home.

All of the gifts were donated by Urban Middle School staff, who also volunteered their time to make this special event possible. Special thanks to Mrs. Bartzen, Mrs. Bohman, and Mrs. Pfister for taking the lead to bring this event to life! What a joyful way to celebrate the season and spread kindness! 🎄❤️

What an incredible showing from our students and families! Thanks to everyone who donated, our school collected an amazing 880 pounds of food to support our community!

Each pinney represented 7 SASD @sasdschools students currently experiencing homelessness — a reminder that some struggles stay invisible until we shine a light on them.

Staff shared facts, busted myths, and helped students understand how housing instability affects their classmates.

Big thanks to @sheboyganpublichealth for partnering with us to help make the invisible… visible.

The Sheboygan Area School District is investing in both the facilities and learning experience of our neighborhood middle schools. As we remodel two buildings, staff are also strengthening how we support students’ academic, developmental, and social needs.
